About the Project:

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has an Outdoor Adventure Center in Detroit, Michigan, that is a great place where kids can go on a field trip to learn about the outdoors. When the surfacing at this educational center was starting to wear after years of heavy use, the client looked into ForeverLawn artificial grass. Because this is a space for kids, it was important to the client to choose a surfacing that would be safe for them. That’s Playground Grass™ Ultra! This artificial turf is known for the XStatic™ antistatic technology that makes it accessible and safe for children with cochlear implants and hearing aids. In just two days our team installed 2,800 square feet of the artificial turf, and the installation was a success despite having to cut in around all the different features at the Outdoor Adventure Center.
